Half day training (3 hours)

This training on Ethical Decision-Making is designed for child protection professionals and those who work in the areas of child welfare.

The training has the following objectives:

  • Differentiate between legal and ethical principles
  • Given a scenario, identify the ethical principle illustrated and discuss ethical trainings of action in each
  • List at least one method or task necessary to incorporate each ethical principle into everyday work practices
  • Identify steps in the ethical decision-making model
  • Apply ethical decision-making model to scenarios of ethical conflict
